Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Lagos yesterday hinted that eight ships have arrived at the Lagos ports with petroleum products.
The NPA gave the hint in its daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’.
The petroleum products, according to the publication, included base
oil, kerosene and petrol, adding that three other ships also arrived
with rice in bags and containers.
It said NPA was expecting arrival of another 27 ships at the ports from yesterday to May 30.
Checks by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) revealed that 13 of the
expected ships would sail in with containers, while eight others were
expected to arrive with food products.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com
The food products, it disclosed, would include rice, bulk sugar, bulk salt, frozen fish and buckwheat.
General cargoes were to be brought in four ships, while one ship each
would sail in with vehicles and kerosene, the publication stated.
