Expdonaloaded News; Raji Bello wrote and I agree

Raji Bello wrote and I agree
What looks like a well-scripted operation has reached a
climax. A week ago, Festus Keyamo suddenly withdrew as
prosecutor in the case of Timipre Sylva for reasons that he
said he couldn't reveal. Now, a non-existent, yet-to-be-appoi
nted Attorney-General of the Federation (or is it the out-
gone AGF?) has sent his DPP to court to withdraw charges
against Mr Sylva.

Some may argue that yesterday's withdrawal of charges
was only part of the process of 'consolidating' the charges
since there are similar charges put before a separate judge.
But if that is the case why is the EFCC unhappy with
yesterday's events? Why did the Commission disown the
submission of the DPP's counsel? And if this withdrawal of
charges is not the final freeing of Mr Sylva, why did the
judge order the authorities to release his passport to him?
Yesterday's events support my suspicion that the type of
fair hearing that accused Nigerian politicians and their
Facebook supporters actually want is NO HEARING.
