The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School, has
revealed that at least seven in every 20-law students that sat for the
final year re-sit examination of the law school, failed the test.
According to the result released in Abuja, 990 candidates representing 36.2 per cent of those who sat for the examination, failed, while only 1,648 passed.
Details of the result showed that 98 students got conditional pass, bringing to 2,736, the total number of students that participated in the May 2015 Bar final year re-sit examination.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..
The result further showed that 1,422 of the 2,852 candidates, who wrote the April 2015 Bar final examination for regular students, passed, while 815 candidates failed. The other 83 candidates were in the ‘conditional pass’ category.
Meanwhile, the council has announced that the Call to Bar ceremony for the successful candidates will hold from October 20 to 22, 2015 in Abuja.
