Island Records, a major American record label that operates as a division of Universal Music Group, has signed on Nigerian music star Seyi Shay.The signing took place in London at the Universal Offices in South Kensington yesterday and Seyi Shay was all smiles as she inked her new deal.
The label’s US division has artists Demi
Lovato, Nick Jonas, Taio Cruz, the Vamps, Kiesza, Nikki Williams, Shawn
Mendes, Neon Trees, Tove Lo, Avicii, Bon Jovi, Madison Beer, American
Authors, and Fall Out Boy.
The UK division includes U2, Jessie
J, John Newman, Enrique Iglesias, Hozier, Nicki
Minaj, Afrojack, Childish Gambino, Weezer, Gotye, Disclosure, Leona
Lewis, Ariana Grande, and Calvin Harris.
