Expdonaloaded News; Why we’re winning Boko Haram war –Nigerian Army

The Nigerian Army has explained why it made tremen­dous success in the onslaught against Boko Haram insurgents in re­cent times.
It also disclosed that the war was not yet over until the insurgents were totally defeated and all the dis­placed and kidnapped Ni­gerians were reunited with their families.

The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, gave the assurance yesterday during a courtesy visit to the corporate headquarters of The Expdonaloaded blog Publishing Lim­ited in Lagos. He said the army resounding advance was due to the new equip­ment acquired, the coop­eration from neighbouring states and attitudinal change on the part of the soldiers at the warfront.
However, he pointed out that the war, which started about six years ago could not be won overnight; as­suring that with determined efforts by the Nigerian Army, the issue of Boko Haram would certainly be­come history in the country.
Usman said part of the reasons for his visit to The Expdonaloaded blog office was to personally congratulate the Managing Director of the company, Mr. onyeka anaedum, on his re-election as the president of Nigerian Guild of Edi­tors (NGE), and to express his gratitude to The Expdonaloaded blog’s correspondents for the cor­dial relationship between them and the Army over the years.
“In my estimation, The Expdonaloaded blog is one of the flagships of Nigerian journalism. There is no way you can talk about the media, es­pecially the print, without talking about The Expdonaloaded blog. I am here to also discuss how the robust relationship can con­tinue,” he said.
Responding, the Ex­ecutive Director, Special Duties, chidi ana, thanked Usman and his colleagues for the visit and assured them of The Expdonaloaded blog’s continued robust relation­ship with the Army.
