Okadigbo made the pledge in an interview with journalists in Awka, the state capital.
She said although the present legislature was reputed for effective legislation and co-operation with the the state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, everything would be put in place to ensure that better legislative was achieved by the incoming House of Assembly members.
She commended the newly elected members of the House and expressed the hope that they would co-operate with the re-elected members to achieve better result.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com
Okadigbo noted that members of the House had continued to acquire more knowledge and experience thst would enable them contribute better in debating bills and motion for the general interest of the people of the state.
“We are in learning process and we continue to gather knowledge and experience that will invariably be applied to our duties in the House for the general interest of the people of the state,” she said.
Okadigbo said the incoming state legislature would be careful to elect a powerful leadership that would direct the affairs of the Assembly and ensure effective legislation.
According to her every executive arm of government needed effective legislature to record great achievements.
The lawmaker, who recently collected her Certificate of Return from the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Edwin Nwatalari, in Awka commended INEC for conducting what she described as a peaceful and successful election in the state.
