Kalu commiserates with govt, people of Yobe

Eminent businessman and former gover­nor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has sympathised with the fami­lies of the students who were killed in Monday bomb at­tack at the Government Sci­ence Secondary School in Potiskum, Yobe State.

Kalu, in a statement signed by his aide, Mr. Sam Amster­dam, said: “It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolenc­es, my thoughts and prayers, to the victims of Potiskum and their families, those whose lives are forever altered, following the devastating attack of yester­day (Monday). We need to be ever-vigilant over the depraved tactics of this militant cabal.
“While I implore our citizen­ry to have faith in the diligent efforts and words of our gov­ernment, we must continue to support our security operatives with timely information on the perpetrators of this ugly act that has already affected the daily lives of Nigerians on the whole.
In the interim, our hearts again go out to those lost so far before their time in Yobe.”
