CSKA Moscow striker, Ahmed Musa has declared that the Super Eagles are targeting three points in their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania today. In their opening Group G fixture, the 2013 African champions beat Chad 2 – 0 while seven – time champions Egypt thrashed Tanzania 3 – 0, meaning the North
Africans top the group, albeit only on goal difference.
“We are here to win. That is the spirit of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Of course, we respect the Taifa Stars, but we do not fear any team,” Ahmed Musa, who will skipper the squad, said according to thenff.com.
“I can tell you that there is a new mentality in this team and our focus is the three points available on Saturday.”
The Super Eagles had a feel of the National Stadium in Dar es Salam yesterday, starting from 16:30 hours local time but
shunned the pre-match press conference later in the day.
