Sunshine Stars In­ternational Football Club of Akure, new recruit, Okiki Afolabi, has told the club’s fans he is sure they are going to win the Globacom Premier League title this season.
The former Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, sensa­tional attacker believed his side can win the Premier League despite Sunshine Stars missing golden opportunity of keeping to their lead on the table log with their 1-0 loss to Dolphins on Wednesday.

Okiki, who can play as winger, midfielder, and point-man maintained he was happy with the team’s condition and they are in the best shape pos­sible of clinching the title.
He said: “I am absolutely sure that we are going to have a very successful season. We can’t afford to miss the trophy, it is coming to Akure. We’ve been working hard in training and the coaches have been do­ing their best to bring out the best in us in training.
“It was so painful we lost against Dolphins, and we have task ourselves that we must win game by game to keep our hope alive. We need to play in the way we know how to play to continue with our attack­ing style and score the most amount of goals.”
“We are sure, as I have just said, we are going to win the league. That has been our target and we won’t lose steam towards achieving our aims. We are going to take every match in our best shape.”
