Expdonaloaded News; 11 die in Ondo auto crash

No fewer than 11 persons were yesterday evening feared dead, while eight persons sustained serious injuries in an auto crash along Ile-Ife/Ondo road. A police source said reckless driving and over speeding by drivers of the vehicles caused the accident. It was gathered that one of the tyres of the car burst and the driver lost control after which it collided with a commercial bus from the opposite direction and immediately the two vehicles went up in flame.
The accident, which occurred few kilometres to Ifetedo, the boundary of Osun and Ondo states, it was gathered, affected free flow of traffic on the busy road for several hours. A police source hinted that eight of the passengers in the bus, including a toddler, sustained serious injuries, while 11 others were feared dead. Expdonaloaded blog gathered that the victims of the accident were rushed to the Trauma Hospital in Ondo town where some of them are still receiving treatment.
