Two police men were shot dead while two Lebanese nationals, Sarki Abi
Chmouli and Ibrahim Abi Pherem were kidnapped after an 8-man armed
kidnappers stormed Onuegbum community in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa state
today June 24th.Eyewitnesses say the two Lebanese kidnapped were workers with the Pache
Construction Company. The gunmen stormed a sand dredging site around 2pm
today where the foreigners were working. The police men were killed
while trying to protect the Lebanese men who were under their care.
Confirming the incident, the police said the bodies of the policemen have been deposited in a mortuary
