Expdonaloaded News; Buhari must defeat Boko Haram in 6 months –Anglican bishop

boko-haram-prepare-for-warDiocesan Bishop, Kaduna Diocese of  Anglican communion, Josiah Idowu-Fearon has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to do everything possible to bring Boko Haram insurgency to an end  within six months in office.
The Bishop believed that President Buhari could achieve the flushing of the insurgents in six months if he  sanitised the armed forces and got them well equipped to terminate  the reign of the remaining Boko Haram elements .
In an address delivered at the 20th synod of the church, Bishop Idowu-Fearon, however, warned the President to steer clear of what  he called the shaky foundation laid by his predecessor, former President Goodluck Jonathan, in order to achieve quick and lasting results in the areas of security and the socio-economic well being of the country .The theme of the Synod was, “A New Look At Holiness”, which was taken from the book of Leviticus 19: 1-4; 11-14.The Anglican bishop said since Buhari was inheriting bad situation from the immediate past government, he should  hit the ground running to meet  the expectations of Nigerians.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..He said: “Mr. President is advised to sanitise the armed forces, get them well equipped, and flush out the remaining Boko Haram insurgents within his first six months in office.Within the first six months, we expect Mr. President to have achieved something to give some hope to Nigerians.  We suggest he make fuel available by removing subsidy so as to use the billions being paid to marketers who, in spite of that, hold Nigerians to ransom.“We suggest to the President to get the companies responsible for the power sector to either make power generation and distribution effective, or set up an appropriate, trustworthy and action-oriented machinery within constitutional provisions to re-evaluate their contracts.
“We want to state the obvious so as to give the President some ideas for his consideration and action. It is obvious, the stakes are high; Nigerians who voted for you have a very high expectancy level. You cannot afford to fail by disappointing them.“The situation you are inheriting is so bad that you should not expect any period of honey moon: security is not there, power supply is at its lowest level, queues at our filling stations hardly ever disappear in spite of the payment of subsidy to those importing fuel, we hear that in some states and some Federal Government departments, salaries have not been paid for months.”
