The PDP stalwart who noted that the PDP failed in the last elections because the presidency and the governors became too powerful such that they felt that the voice of the didn’t matter.
He urged the incoming government of President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to learn from the mistakes of the PDP by ensuring they separate governance from party affairs.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..“Most of the governors were too powerful and they didn’t need people’s advice. Governors in the states are responsible for the failure of all the elections of the PDP in the country. All the governors should have resigned because they were responsible for the failure of the elections. So, Buhari should watch out and not make the same mistake.”
“I advise the APC to separate the party from government. Don’t lump both together. They must leave those who are running the party with the party and those running government to run government.”
Shuluwa also advised the Governor-elect of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom to focus on payment of salary arrears owed workers in Benue as well as energy and water in his first tenure.
