President of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou, yesterday said President Goodluck Jonathan’s acceptance of the outcome of the March 28 presidential election, enthroned new political culture in Africa.

Speaking during a visit to the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, Mahamadou said the situation was so because Nigeria plays a big brother role in Africa.
According to him “whenever Nigeria sneezes, Africa catches cold,” adding that there was huge concern about the election in all African countries.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..The Nigerien president noted that, but for the Belin Conference that led to the balkanisation of Africa, Nigeria and Niger are one.  In his speech, Buhari described Niger as part of Nigeria, stressing that the two countries shared similarities in several areas.Meanwhile, a delegation from the multi-national oil company, Shell Petroleum yesterday, met with the president-elect.
