Expdonaloaded News; (Otti) Abia election tribunal adjourns till June 11

Abia State governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Umuahia has adjourned till June 11 the petition brought before it by the All Progressives Grand Alliance Candidate (APGA) in the 2015 governorship election in Abia, Dr. Alex Otti, against the winner of the election, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Adjourning the matter, Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Usman Bwala, granted Otti the right to inspect INEC documents used for the gubernatorial election in the state.

The motion challenging the election results were filed by Chief Chris Uche (SAN), counsel to Otti,  who led nine other lawyers to represent the petitioner, asking the tribunal chairman to grant Otti leave to serve the respondents through substituted means.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com.. The second motion which the petitioner asked for was for the tribunal to grant him leave to inspect documents used for the conduct of the gubernatorial election.The, tribunal, however granted the petitioner the leave to serve the respondents through substituted means as well as inspect the documents used for the conduct of the election. He gave them May 27, 28 and 30 as days of the inspection of the election documents.
Speaking to newsmen later, Chief Uche said their major prayer was for the tribunal to command INEC to make available all the documents used for the last gubernatorial election for inspection.
