Expdonaloaded News; Mu’azu: Jonathan in closed-door meeting with Secondus, Dickson

President Good­luck Jonathan yesterday met be­hind closed doors with Chief Uche Secon­dus, shortly after the lat­ter took over as the acting national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Secondus, who until the res­ignation of National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, on health grounds, was the deputy national chair­man, arrived the Presidential Villa, Abuja at about 5.15p.m for the meeting.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..He walked into the presi­dent’s office in company with Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, acknowledging greetings from those who were congratulating him on his new position.Although the agenda of the meeting was not made public, it may not be unconnected with the development in the party.It was believed Secondus was at the Presidential Villa to brief President Jonathan on developments and to seek his support.
The meeting was still ongo­ing at press time yesterday.
