Expdonaloaded News; Ekwunife: A performer and political enigma

Now that the National Assembly elections have been fought, won and lost, winner and losers have emerged, it is now clear that Ndi Anambra are more sophisticated than ever. We cannot take them for granted anymore. They know what is going on and they would not be led by the nose any longer.

A particular candidate and his political party conspired against Ekwunife because they loved themselves and their pocket against the welfare of the common man in Anambra whom she (Iyom) stands for. They imposed their wish on us against that of Ekwunife, the popular choice of Anambra Central Senatorial District. But we said no Anambra belongs to us all, therefore, we will not succumb to intimidation, harassment or be cowed by them in our belief of Ekwunife’s ideology, ordinariness and love for all in Anambra by Voting massively for her because her opponents have built something on nothing.
If the truth must be told, Ekwunife’s performance and achievements as Honourable Member of the House of Representatives afforded the people eight years of growth, dividend of democracy, Peace and Stability in the hands of God and a Leader we all fully trusted. In Ekwunife, we have a representative who treated the Constituency Project Fund as an asset to turn around her entire constituents for good rather than a cake to be shared among a few.
We must not forget the fact that Ekwunife is a grassroots mobiliser who is always in contact with People through heart touching care. Her dedication to the universal ethos of love and charity it is said in certain quarters, accounts for her landslide victory and place her as possible replacement for Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Janet Mokelu (OON. KSC) Secretary –General N.C.N.C Women Wing (1950-1966). Honourable Member Eastern Nigeria House of Assembly 1961 and mobilizer of the Women of Eastern Nigeria to demonstrate against colonial shooting to death in 1949 of Miners in Enugu.
While other candidates were sulking and calling names, while her Posters had become nightmares for them during the campaigns, Ekwunife carried her message of “Paradigm shift” to the nooks and crannies of dusty villages and hamlets where the majority of the voters dwell in her house to house campaign. Her one on one interaction with these ordinary people as her opponents were Pleased with breezing visit to the metropolitan cities of Awka, Obosi, Amawbia etc, brought out the difference in Photograph and live images.
Wherever she went, Ekwunife was busy discussing issues with the people. post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..She told the electorate a convincing story of what she learnt in the House of Representatives, from the successful and unsuccessful polices of the government and how she will use that fresh experience and work together with people to re-claim and re-activate God’s master-plan for the Senatorial District, Anambra State and Nigeria if elected a Senator of the Eight Senate.Throughout the campaigns, the people of Anambra Central District did not hear of any alternative to what Uche was offering. They did not hear any superior argument against her postulations. They have no choice than to vote Hon. Ekwunife, a performer and political enigma with enviable achievements in the social and political lif of Nigeria, the only candidate they saw, heard and touched.I am happy the ordinary people in appreciation of Hon. Uche Ekwunife (the Senator –elect for Anambra Central Senatorial District) quality representation, shun money politics to dislodge the grand design plans of the Political godfathers to manipulate the state institutions and resources to determine the outcome of the March 28, 2015 National Assembly contest as was evident in the April 11, State Assembly election and voted enmass for the Lady who has passed through the thick and thin of the murky water of Anambra State Politics.
As Ndigbo say, you may tell the blind, that there is no oil in the soup, but not that there is salt in it or not. The blind taste buds certainly know better. It is also a common say among Ndigbo that a woman who happens to have been married to two different men does not need a soothsayer to know which of the two men is better.
Her success at the just concluded National Assembly Polls was no happenstance; but a result of careful planning and good foundation which elicited unconditional loyalty, love and confidence of the People; coupled with her charming and charismatic Personae.
As she assume fully in June, the mantle of Leading Anambra Central Senatorial District on the path of continued progress; and as she move from the House of Representatives to the Senate to provide our people with the voice now lacking at that level, I pray the Almighty God to continue to guide and bless this women of integrity, honour, discipline, incorruptibility, patriotism and courage all running, simultaneously, in her DNA with good health and wisdom to sustain the Momentum and even raise the bar of development, and good representation of our state.
