Young supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari, in their hundreds,
attempted to force their way into the presidential villa, shortly after
the inauguration ceremony. The youths suspected to be members of the All Progressives Congress had with them banners and brooms, the party’s symbol, chanting solidarity songs and dancing.They had moved to the Supreme Court Gate of the Villa straight from the Eagles Square where Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo were inaugurated earlier in the day.post by expdonaloaded.blogspot.com..The youths almost overwhelmed the security personnel stationed at the gate leading to the presidential villa from the major roads leading to the square.The security men, who had herculean task keeping the youths at bay, resisted their attempt to force their way into the Villa until they succeeded in pushing back the youths.The youths while chanting various solidarity songs amidst the shouts of Sai Baba, under the scorching sun on the bridge, however, refused to leave the vicinity.
The security operatives, however, did not take their eyes off them while they did their thing.
