Plateau’ll vote for Jonathan –Jang

jang-plateauDespite the burning down of president Goodluck Jonathan campaign vehicles in Jos, Plateau State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), Jonah Jang, has assured the president that the state would vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming elections.

Jang stated this during a reception held for the PDP governorship candidate in the forthcoming elections, Senator Gyang Pwajok, at the new Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos at the weekend. Pwajok had just returned from Lagos where he received the party’s flag.
The governor said: “Plateau is PDP and the people of the state would continue to support the party. The PDP shall form the next Federal Government, PDP will win the governorship election in Plateau State this year, and we will do it by God’s guidance and by our clean minds, we shall campaign hard to ensure victory for our party at all levels.
“PDP has done well in transforming the nation and would do more if voted into office in February.”
Also speaking on the occasion, Pwajok expressed optimism that the PDP’s chances of winning the election were high, saying he was overwhelmed by the turn out of people who came to the airport to welcome him back home from Lagos where he was presented the party’s flag as the governorship candidate of the state.
