Women should contest elective positions – APC woman leader

The Zonal Woman Leader (South-West) of the  All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs.  Kemi Nelson, has called on female members of the party to contest in  the forthcoming elections and ensure that they are well represented in the various legislative houses in the country.

Nelson, in a press release in Lagos, said it is was time for women to take their rightful position in the various legislative houses in the land by contesting for elective offices.
She advised female members of the party to take full advantage of the generous provision of the APC for them to actively participate in the electoral process.
According to her, Women should take advantage of their large population to elect their own into legislative positions and stop being just followers and mere supporters of male members of the party.
