Pillar of Sports and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu
has applauded President Jonathan and other well meaning Nigerians who
ensured the return of Stephen Keshi as Super Eagles Coach. In the past
few days, there had been controversies over Keshi’s sack by Nigeria
Football Federation.
Kalu who made the remarks stated that in the interest of Nigeria
football, it is just right for Keshi to manage and see the Super Eagles
team through the remaining two qualifying matches.
He said,” I salute Mr. President and NFF’s decision to return Keshi. It is timely considering the on going African Nations Cup qualifying matches.” The return of Ike Uche by Keshi shows that the national team is set for business.
Keshi has been able to forget the past and he is now focusing on the future. I am indeed glad that Ike Uche is back on the field.” The former governor admonished Keshi to remain friendly with his players as the team will go places if there is peace among the players...post by expdonaloaded
