Just four days after being crowned winners of the Women's Super League title, Liverpool were knocked out of the Champions League by Swedish side Linkoping.

The Reds were beaten 3-0 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate to miss out on a place in the last 16.
Liverpool ladies were put to the sword by Fridolina Rolfo who netted a hat-trick on home soil having only been a substitute in the 2-1 first leg defeat in England.
Linkoping took control from the off and almost went ahead inside five minutes when keeper Libby Stout saved brilliantly from Pernille Harder.
Rolfo opened the scoring – to level the tie on aggregate – with a rising shot on 24, before latching on to Harder’s assist to make it 2-0 shortly after half-time.
The decisive third arrived in the 56th minute when Rolfo completed her hat-trick from close range after latching on to a rebound.
Liverpool's American keeper Stout made a handful of excellent saves to limit the damage while Gemma Davison and Natasha Dowie were unable to take advantage of rare opportunities for the visitors.
However, as domestic champions, Liverpool have already qualified for next season’s competition.
