Swindon captain Nathan Townsend has signed a new two and a half year contract keeping him at the club until 2017.

In the 12 years I’ve been here it’s the best football the team has played. In order for me to progress and continue the way I’m developing it’s important that I stayed here and I’m absolutely over the moon to have signed a new contract.
