Mrs Omolara Edith Olaide Sonoiki travelled to the United States early May for her annual medical checkup where doctors diagnosed her with gastric cancer. She was told she had less than 6 weeks to live. She died at the age of 40 on Tuesday the 16th of June 2015 after a 6-week battle with cancer. Her loving husband Mr Olugbenga Abidemi Sonoiki was by her bedside till she breathed her last breath. She was laid to rest yesterday at Vaults and Gardens cemetery in Ikoyi Lagos. The deceased is survived by her hubby, 3 children, Teniola, Foyinsola and Nifemi.Also left to mourn her are her 6 siblings and aged mother.
