12 die in auto crash in Ilesa

No fewer than 12 persons were con­firmed dead yes­terday in an auto crash involving a Toyota Si­enna bus and a Toyota Hiace along Ilesa-Ife Expressway yesterday.

Eyewitnesses told expdonaloaded that officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were seen rescuing the injured at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the Toyota Hiace was said to have left his lane and drove against traffic.
Some children were said to be in one of the vehicles. An eyewitness also said no fewer than four children were among the dead victims.
